Anyone who explores the rich history of jazz spends a good amount of time considering jazz pianists like Jim Hall, Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson and Geri Allen, to name four.
Joe Leaman is no different, and he leverages the trio format on this weeks program to explore works by these artists and others to provide a historical retrospective of the piano trio format. Featuring Joe on piano, Aiden Plank on acoustic bass and Brent Hamker on guitar, and from March 9th, 2023, it’s Hamker/Leaman/Plank – Live at the Bop Stop.
Live at the Bop Stop is made possible by The Music Settlement – serving Northeast Ohio by offering music instruction, music therapy, and early childhood education since 1912. The Music Settlement's mission is to welcome all to our music and arts community to learn, create, inspire, and heal.
