Northeast Ohio features a number of educational institutions that offer robust jazz programs, including Oberlin College, Tri-C, Kent State University and Cleveland State University.
This week, members of the Cleveland State University Jazz Faculty get together to collaborate on original compositions and generally just jam. We’ve featured all four performers in their own groups previously, but this week it’s a change to hear four educators and band leaders collaborate.
Featuring Dan Bruce on Guitar, Chris Vance on Bass, Bill Ransom on Drums and John Perrine on Saxophones, from January 21st, 2022 it’s the Cleveland State University Jazz Faculty – Live at the Bop Stop.
This program is recorded at the Robert Conrad Studios at the Bop Stop in Cleveland, Ohio with additional production by Graham Rosen and editing for WOBC and WNPA provided by Dr. Pete Naegele and for our podcast and other affiliates by Shawn Gilbert and Carsen Gilbert at GilAzar media.
The Executive Producer is Daniel Peck.
