This week – revered as both a torchbearer and a storyteller, jazz vocalist Vanessa Rubin possesses a voice hailed for crystalline clarity- hearth-like warmth and playful lioness sass. With nine albums under her belt performing with jazz luminaries such as Grover Washington junior and Kenny Burrell – Vanessa has explored different styles of jazz from vocal big band melodies to sparse guitar driven compositions.
Vanessa brings her trio to the Bop Stop to jump start the holidays with her signature swinging style of standards, originals, ballads and blues.
